Take a look at what piques your interest!

Character illustration

I enjoy pushing expressions with my character designs, adding personality through both facial features and body language.

Comics

I have made two short comics in recent years, where I explore past experiences and let my memories turn into stories. Curious about the process?

Other projects

Take a look into a selection of my collage projects, print series and more.

Character illustration

I work in a sketchbased style - where the lineart is largely just a slightly polished sketch - leaving the roughness and charm I feel is often lost in perfecting clean linework. Many of the following works are based on several YouTubers' Minecraft personas - which prove an excellent challenge in translating something pixelated, and extremely simplified, into a fully fleshed out character. In my illustrations, body- and facial proportions, as well as expressions and body language get to bring the pixelated characters to life.Click the images for a larger view. Content Warning: Depictions of blood.

Comics

I start in myself - exploring different aspects of my life and the things that have affected me. From there I start stretching that reality - letting characters form. Their stories unravel and get put together again - drawing by drawing.

Tilgi oss vår skyld (2025)

Comic Frame from "Tilgi oss vår skyld"

I start in myself - exploring different aspects of my life and the things that have affected me. From there I start stretching that reality - letting characters form. Their stories unravel and get put together again - drawing by drawing. My most recent comic project is titled "Tilgi oss vår skyld", translated "Forgive us our Sins". I dove headfirst into my memories of growing up in a christian environment, and the story formed around two friends struggling to align the church's beliefs with their own. In the sketches below you can see some of the work behind shaping the characters.

Below, you can view a few pages from the comic. It is written in my mother tongue, Norwegian, but feel free to scroll through anyways :)

Uadskillelige (2023)

"Uadskillelige" follows two best friends; their characters inspired by 1930s fashion and the booming industry in the hilly town of Notodden, Norway. But their concerns are not with the industry: it is that Agnes doesn't know how to get a date! So of course - they set out to make an early prototype of Tinder."Uadskillelige" translates to "Inseperable" and explores the relationship of these two best friends, where Hedda turns out to not be so happy with the success of her plan for Agnes. She turns jealous - but of who?
